The Night Before

The Night Before
Like a battle cry the alarm bells shoot like knives
And it hits him to the very core
You open one eye and you struggle to remind yourself
What it is you woke up for.
You sink into you bed as you realize your dread
And you start to sweat
You had a few to drink and you think you’ve done some things
That you might regret on the night before
You lie there very still and phone ring brings a chill
It’s a number that you don’t recall
You read the message twice
It says ‘thank you for last night…you were truly wonderful
You sink into you bed as you realize your dread
And you start to sweat
You had a few to drink and you think you’ve done some things
That you might regret on the night before
Oooore ooooore Oooore ooooore Oooore ooooore
Ooooore Oooore ooooore
On the night before
There’s an image coming through of a woman dressed in blue
You can see her face but not her name
In the mirror bold and bright in her red lipstick handwriting
She signed it with kiss ‘Love Jane’
You sink into you bed pull the covers on your head
And you really sweat
You had a few to drink and you think you’ve done some things
That you might regret on the night before
You had a few to drink and you think you’ve done some things
That you might regret on the night before
You had a few to drink and you think you’ve done some things
That you might regret on -the night before.

Davy Jones' Lock In

Davy Jones' Lock in
You won’t be coming home tonight
You worked up a heavy appetite
You won’t be satisfied until this feeling dies
Nothing else will do
Until it’s got a hold over you
You’re like a train that’s going to crash
Temptation is getting all too much
The lights are turning red
But there’s something in your head
A switch to overload
The lights are on but nobody is home
His ship has run aground
Compass madly spinning round
Captain nowhere to be found
He’s lost in heavy seas
Showers mainly good at first
Driven by a raging thirst
He drank until the clouds had burst their seams.
Hands slowly ticking on the clock
Here comes a little aftershock
You had a lot of fun
But your race has all been run
You find a place to hide
He won’t be seen again for quite some time
His ship has run aground
Compass madly spinning round
Captain nowhere to be found
He’s lost in heavy seas
Showers mainly good at first
Driven by a raging thirst
He drank until the clouds had burst their seams.
Davy Jone’s Lock in
Nobody could stop him
Sinking to the bottom of the sea.

In Your Arms

In Your Arms
I’ve hardly known you but you’ve grown familiar to me
This feeling grows with every word we speak
How much we’ve told each other, and the secrets we still keep
Two different worlds, in the middle we both meet
I let my mind run wild remember what it’s like
To be in your arms tonight.
And then I picture the place in your loving embrace
In your arms tonight
I hear frustration, but there’s little we can do
This distance makes it harder
But we’ll just keep on pushing through
If I’m not mistaken, we’re both singing to the same tune
Lets not be hasty, time will be our proof.
I let my mind run wild remember what it’s like
to be, in your arms tonight.
And then I picture the place in your loving embrace
In your arms tonight
You made a promise to yourself
And now you’re promise is to someone else
A hand to hold
A story yet to unfold.
I let my mind run wild remember what it’s like
To be, in your arms tonight.
And then I picture the place in your loving embrace
In your arms tonight

Bewitched and Bewildered

Bewitched and Bewildered
Sure it’s no wonder that she has me under her spell
And the spell that she’s cast, well if it’s gonna last, time will tell
She stirs up emotion, dreaming up potions and charms
She’ll leave you dumb-founded completely spellbound in her arms
You’re left in a trance from a devilish glance of her eye
She’ll work through your veins and drives insane with her smile.
The magic she holds at her fingers, controlling my thoughts
She spins a web with the words that she says and I’m caught.
She flies through my mind like the wind in the night
And she cooks up a storm when she looks in your eyes
And she leaves me bewitched and bewildered every time
Clouded in mystery, she’s an uncovered history to find
She speaks in hushed tones and knows how to read people’s minds
You could dine on her beauty, a banquet to truly enjoy
But when she starts to bubble you know your in trouble oh boy!
She flies through my mind like the wind in the night
And she cooks up a storm when she looks in your eyes
And she leaves me bewitched and bewildered every time
Now that I’m under her spell
Only time will tell
Is this heaven or hell?
She flies through my mind like the wind in the night
And she cooks up a storm when she looks in your eyes
And she leaves me bewitched and bewildered every time
Now that I’m under her spell
Only time will tell
